Freight of tarp and poles

hello there again!!!!!!

i was wondering if anyone knows of a reasonably priced way to get 24 adjustable tent poles, tarp and pegs ropes etc to Albury from Brisbane!!!!! total weight 49 kilos. there is a bargain to be had but i don't want the freight to kill me.

thanks in advance for your advice!!!!!

Give em away in Albury and buy new ones in Bris ......... probably cheaper when you factor in all the stuffing around.

you can try lewingtons haulage and get them to pop it to a Bdouble. or try freds freighters.

I used Toll Ipec to get some siderails/sidesteps from Nowra to Melbourne for $50...

just let your fingers do the walking...

The train is usually pretty reasonable, if someone can drop at station and pick up at bris station. Busfreight is also handy. Hume transport do really good rates to and from albury. You should have asked last week - chris was doing a flyer from bris to melb and back....

I'm coming that way but not for about 4 months :-((

I think that you will find that BUS FREIGHT is the cheapest. I know Greyhound Buses do a lot of it.

Wow thanks for all your advice........... I got a few quotes etc ranging from $235 to $67 (toll ipec), busfreight are very reasonable also but with 49 kilos it just added up to slightly too much. so for future reference busfreight are $34 for 20 kg but they charge per parcel. toll ipec charge $18 fee plus $1 per kilo. BTW did you know Kmart have got 25% off camping supplies. i do love a bargain. cheers
