creaking noise in rear of patrol GU III

Hello,
I have a creaking noise in the rear of my patrol when i go around sharp corners like in a car park. i think it is coming from the rear doors,

Has any one had the same prblem and how did you fix it?

Brent, check the nuts on the extension bars on the rear sway bar. It is common for them to come loose and rub up and down the threads of the bar, It happened to mine and nissan said its very common. regards Michael

I have had a lot of creaks and groans from the tailgate area on my 12 months old GU ST-L. I fixed it by lubricating ALL the rubber seals with Selleys silicone spray (from the supermarket) AND using a good squirt of CRC with a probe right into every hinge, stay and slide. Plus a good going over the latches wirh DRILUBE. Obviously it took a few goes before I got it right! There are plenty of potential noise sources there. it really feels good when you eliminate the noise.

I am still plagued with creaking and cracking noises from the roof rack. I have a Rhino rack mounted on Rola bars. I think the problem is that the three bars are not perfectly level and the Rhino rack pulls down unevenly
onto the bars. The supplier has played with it once and he blamed the bead of sealant that the Nissan has in the gutters. He said it allows the carry bars to slowly sink.

I have found the same and regularly clean the rubbers with clean rag and water, it stops it, but I have thought of drilube or CRC as mentioned above. I find I do all doors as sooner or later they start up this ruckus. The GQ did it too, must be a design feature so one knows they are driving.
