Don't skimp on the heat beads or the fire lighters, and make sure that they are all burning before you leave it for the half hour or so for the heat beads to change colour. We haven't used ours very often, but I couldn't see why I would need 3 firelighters to start a few heat beads, so only used one and not all the heat beads got going, hence we had to finish
cooking in microwave as it didn't have enough heat to
cook food.
SWMBO said that she does it similar to a normal oven, if it is a big piece of meat she puts that in first and then later adds the veggies.
It is one of those things that you have to experiment a bit with, and it is best to do it at home where you have other means of
cooking if things don't work out too good the first few times.
