Hello Again
Just thought I would do a quick up date on the Jackaroo. Since removing the restrictors in the exhaust, it has been going great. I have just fitted a 2.5 inch sports exhaust system. Souds great and runs even better. Just did a trip up to the high country and the jack was cruising up hills to mansfield in 5th on cruise control. I haven't worked out fuel yet, but it definately ran better.

seems posts just disapear lately haha, a while ago when we were all talking about removing the restrictors, Brad had other suggestions, So I finally got it done. I have a 3.5 V6. I spents about $450, but could have spent more if I wanted custom headers and twin pipe all the way, as you would need 2 cat converters and 2 oxygen sensors and computer re tune, too hard.... and over $1200.

How have you been. Mild steel mate, with an coating. Would have liked stainless, but it was double. There were cheaper option as well.

Standard cat back, but have a hi flow 2.5 inch cat coming. The mufler is a Super Cat,, but is about a third of the size of the standard one on the jack, the old one took up way too much room. There is more grrrr about the Jack, a bit louder. No resonance, a bit of a drone but not bad. Going to get the snorkel on now and have ordered a K&N filter.

All sounds good to me, mine just a little slower off the mark, but onces its up and running, very quick about 2500 revs. I have just ordered a K&N airfilter from the states, look forward to putiing that in. I couldn't go back to the smaller tryres, i love the extra height, even on the road
