GU Rattles

Mudguard

Hi All,Weve had a 98 2.8t since new and found some of these :
Front panel around windscreenwipers vibrates against front window because rubber seal has hardened and is only secured at the front changes in outside temp expands the panel and makes it rattle in diff areas
Gap between dash and window the panel underneath can hold a lot of biros & little toys you need to have a bent wire to drag them out
The 2.8 turbo's intercooler fan guard underneth aswell as the fit between intercooler and bonnet
Any plastic clip any where
The plastic sunvisor clips are a good one
Sunglasses holder good for hiding little lego men
and thats only from the drivers seat but when the wife & kids are in you cant hear a thing. cheers

Thanks for the ideas. I have the same model with some unknown rattles from the front i will check these areas out. A little tip if your gu starts to get hard to start when hot a common prblem with them get the end plug in the injector pump check it may save you thousands.
