Does anyone have any experience with bushman car fridges, and how do you think they compare with other brands for price and for work?

Wayne, I have been using a Bushaman fridge for the past twelve months now and have no complaints, it runs well and is an excellent price for what you get. I recently added the new lid which has taking it up to 42 litres and would easily recommend the fridge if your looking at it.

Hi Wayne
We were looking at the Bushman and believe it to be a good fridge however, decided that once you buy the 240vlt adaptor, the insulation bag and perhaps the extra lid, it comes quite close to the cost of the Engel which is reputed to be the best (apart from the Autofridge which is a bit more expensive). Resale on an Engel would probably be better than the bushman as well. We havent been in the heat of the North yet but took our Engel camping this weekend and are extremely happy with it. Hope I havent confused you! Regards. Nicole

I PUSCHASED A BUSHMAN BUT HAVE ONLY USED IT ON TWO OCCASIONS.
I FOUND IT TO BE VERY EFFICIENT & QUIET IN OPERATION. YOU SHOULD
NOTE THAT THE AUTO CUT OFF TO SAVE YOUR BATTERY COMES IN AT
10.8V. WHILE THIS WILL SAVE BATTERY DAMAGE, IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO START
THE VEHICLE. FOR AROUND $25.00 YOU CAN PURCHASE AN AUTO CUT OFF AT
11.5V. ALLOWING PLENTY LEFT IN THE BATTERY TO START YOUR VEHICLE.
GOOD LUCK
