Nissan Terrano 1991 Clutch Fan

Could someone please advise how to top up the clutch fan with silicone and what is the best thermostat to have in place.Currently based in the Pilbara and although under normal driving everthing temp wise ok but have some trips coming up that will require towing and I need to be prepared as daytime temps continue to be 40+.

use toyota fluild....however the consense is dpnt.....just replace the whole clutch and water pump at the same time.its a one piece unit.

Filling with fresh silicone oil improved the clutch on mine quite a lot.

First thing to do is check your thermostate make sure its a " High Flow " 77 deg can be a bit hard to get hold of but but will solve any overheating problems as long as everthing else is o.k.
