I have been turning over tyre issues very recently as one of my Wimpy Dunlops on my T/D Prado 120 copped a side wall spike when cutting some wood in the scrub. Got all the poop on the D694 and looks and sound like a great tyre. We in
Kalgoorlie are a conservative lot however. Everyone I am speaking to just keeps saying Coopers,Coopers,Coopers. No I don't work for Coopers.
Mining and exploration dudes are lazy guy's who like me want to drive rather than frig around with
tyres .Some guys who use their vehicles every day over sometimes outrageous obsticles in the mining Industry have told me "yeah Coopers just get em".
I'm Sold some tosser who drives on the
gibb river road once every 2 years can have an opinion but some of the guys
4Wdriving every day have given the Coopers the nod. You can draw your own conclusions. I'm getting a ATR Cooper next week and will change the lot over when the Dunlops flog out ...if they last that log.
