Jospod,
I put all the OME stuff on myself, didn't put the steering damper on seeing as the one I had was only 2 years old and didn't have enough scratches on it to warrant replacing it. I didn't do the castor bushes either, I bought them with the intention to change them out as soon as the springs had settled after a month or two, still haven't done them three years later. The handling improved on my GQ when I changed out the castor bushes so I'll do them eventually. The OME kit came with the sway bar extensions, these require drilling and aren't as straight forward, a bit of time and thought and it's all relatively easy. Watch the brake pipes on the front axle, let the bracket go before you drop the axle down saves ripping the brake pipe apart.
If you jack the car up on the axle, take the wheels off and put axle stands under the chassis rails you won't have to use a fork lift, unless you have one handy of course, I didn't. I tow a similar camper trailer and also got a 50 mm lift. I have the winch bar plus winch and the
drawers in the back, the old GU handles well, no problems as far as I'm concerned. My views as usual
