Why not use the Toyota stuff isn’t it a special red coolant?
Or just use another Quality coolant. Just make sure it meets Toyota’s cooling system protection specifications

I would stay with the desert duellers they are a proven performer and if you are happy with them why change.

I'll second the genuine Tojo stuff, I used it for 20 years (with recomended changes at correct intervals with absolutely zero problems.

The only stuff to use in your cooling system is the Tojo red stuff according to all the mechanics that have ever worked on mine.
Can't comment on tyres, I use the Kelly brand. The LT ones are great for the dirt, but there are better tyres for the tar.

Likewise, I'd only use the genuine Toyota coolant. If you mix coolants, without neutralising and flushing out the old coolant, precipitation can occur and block the radiator.

I have Desert Duelers - same percentages as you and I like them. I have had them on all of my 4WDs and never have a problem.

As far as coolant goes - I get my 80 Series serviced by TLC here in Perth and they make and supply their own coolant when they do work on your car and provided free top ups for you to carry around. Not sure of the brand but it is green in colour. They swaer by it.

I have used the Nulon brand previous to this and found it okay, especially the anti freeze for when I live in Canberra.

Just make sure you give your radiator a good flush - don't mix different brands as some will react with each other.

Only one answer to the coolant and that is the Toyota LLC (as everyone else has recommened). Even Nissan owners use it, that's how good it is!! LOL

I had desert dullers and just traded them in on some Goodyear MTRS. There is NO comparison on dirt, the MTR's wipe the floor, but seeings as you said 3% dirt, might as well go the DD's.
