Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) - Definition
Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) is the maximum loaded mass of the vehicle as specified by the vehicle's manufacturer; or by VicRoads if;
the manufacturer has not specified the maximum loaded mass; or
the manufacturer cannot be identified; or
the vehicle has been modified to the extent that the manufacturer's specification is no longer appropriate.

Definition according to the Department of Transport and Regional Services: value specificed for the vehicle by the manufacturer as being the maximum of the sum of the Gross Vehicle Mass of the drawing vehicle plus the sum of the axle loads of any vehicle capable of being drawn as a trailer. In other words, the Gross Vehicle Weight (loaded) plus Gross Trailer Weight (loaded).

Austravel, seeing Bruce has published this, I will say have taken out the tray to have a frame underneath now instead and cut out quite a bit. Had a tool box underneath but removed too. Have the highlift and shovel pinned in place,
water tank full, fuel tanks full, full (very nealy anyway)
camping kit and came in at much closer to the GVM than it was. My contact details are with the rig pic if you wanted to talk more.
