Electronic rust prevention systems

Does any one have any recommendations as to which electronic rust prevention system is the best to get. In fact are they any good at all? There are several on the market, most seem to require several couplers e.g ERPS system, but the RODE system only uses one.

I bought the ERPS for serveral reasons... Its australian made, its used by many surf life saving clubs, its used by the Brisbane City Council, it costs much less than RODE, its a Capacitive Coupling system, unlike some "electronic boxes" with use a cathodic system which only works under water (eg on pipelines and bridges). The ERPS has also been updated after feedback from people who use their vehicles in the surf regularly. I wouldnt trust a system that only has one coupler as it would have difficulty keeping the entire body of your car negatively charged. I have four couplers on my Nissan Patrol which is in good condition. Older or extreme use vehicles may need more couplers, smaller vehicles would need less.

Dr Karl is talking about cathodic methods, which as I stated earlier, dont work unless under water. He makes no reference at all the capacitive coupling systems (of which I only know of 2 available - all the others, as you correctly pointed out, dont work).
