MacDonald Ranges Caravan Park are worth a try (08)89526111 they may also be on the net
you may have to stay the first night but they do store cars & vans for people going on organised tours
if you dont do any good contact me i may be able to arrange private storage -no promises but -would have to check with the other end first
cheers Kev

G'Day Donkey,

After living in Alice Springs for a long time the only place I would store my car would be inside one of those "you store it" places. Where it is totally secure and out of site. You can hire them short term I think, if the car has any valuables in it at all then i would definately not leave it anywhere in the open. There is also a problem with kids stealing petrol from cars, one car yard now even leaves a can of fuel out each night so they will stop snapping of petrol caps!!! Leaving your car out side the police station would be a bad idea. as this is were there is a large concentration of "locals" all the time.

Just a thought, i can get you a numberfor one of the storage places in Alice if you want.

Timbo.
