1 Is it reverse cycle? Gets cool out here in wither time.

2 Can I duct it to the camper?

Lastly does it come in other colours, the white would clash with the pewter grey of the GU.

I'd be more worried about the 2500watt invertor while your ideling at the traffic lights.... That wasn't exactly a big battery and probally a stock alternator. At my calculations 2500watts is over 200amps @ 12v!!!

he didn't need to cut that massive hole in his ute - he could have just put a funnel on the air con wind vain - like 8cm x 15cm. Drawback is that it would never cut out cause it can't read the inside temperature but hey might beat a big hole. But yeah, can't really get over the power consumption issue. Like say he does spend a lot of time at traffic lights, those units use about 700w at 240v AC - what does an idling motor put into a battery ?
