LED interior lights + going to SA Sun eclipse

A few weeks ago there was mention of 'how to build your own LED lights' with a Web site address, which had diagrams, pictures etc. The person was going to start making them for sale. My computer crashed and I lost everything. Has anyone got a reference to this message and Web address ?

Sun eclipse
I will be going from Canberra - anyone interested in Subaus, camping and driving ? I might be interested in taking a passenger as my partner has to work. Leave Canberra around 24th Dec to meet with WA Subaru Club - via a 5 day detour to Pt Linclon and Coffin Bay. Possible return via Googs Track. Away 2 weeks plus ?

You do say 'interior lights'. To make an interior light that would come even close to an 8 or 2 x 8w fluoro would possibly draw more current than a LED equivelent. In the automotive industry, with the LED tail light assemblies, the reversing light is still a bulb. The cost of a quality 2 x 8w fluro with a switch to have one or both 8w tubes on, would be substantially cheaper than a LED light, and possibly the same or less power consumption.

I do have an LED clearance light in my truck. It has 4 x LED's in it and does give you a glow to see what you are doing. It is called a Dimple and is available from Ashdowns part no. 52-92004 for about $22.00 incl GST and the Hella one is 95950061 and also has 4 LED's and the product can be seen on the Hella website:

then LED TECHNOLOGY and the price for that one is about $23.00 incl GST.
