Looking at the Troopy.

I seem to be finding a big hole in the amount of information available on the Internet on the Troopy, so any decent links would be helpfull. That being said, I am in the market for one and am after a 6 seater, RV configuration, however I may be interested ( if the price is right ) in other configurations. So has anyone converted an 11 seater to a 6 seater, or a 3 seater into a 6 seater. If so, what was the cost like and how much hassle was it. It does also kind of appeal to me that if I got an 11 seater and converted it to a 6 seater and then ( with some work I understand ) convert it back for when other families come to visit us in The Alice, that dont have a 4WD ( how gothic would that be ... ).

If the troopy youre after came out in the RV versions then you will probably find that an 11 seater troopy already has the bolting patten in the in the floor to take the RV 3 seater bench and seat belts. Not sure if the front passenger seat in an 11 seater swings forward to allow access to the rear like happens in a RV troopy. You cost will be for what ever seats you need.

Thanks for that, it kind of makes sense that if the RV6 comes in that range that the bolts should be there. I will check when I next get to inspect the vehicles. I will also have to check on the "swinging of the front seat".
