My Rodeo is a 2000 Single Cab pick up Diesel. I had 4WD Systems at Gilles Plains in
Adelaide fit a larger tank to my Rodeo. Capacity is 125L. The first 4-500Kms of driving, the fuel gauge stays at full, then starts to go down. On the bottom side of the tank, fuel warning light comes on with about 20 litres still remaining in the tank in stop start type traffic. At continuous road speed, fuel light comes on with about 10-15 litres remaining.
My only gripe, they did not give back my original tank. Although I did ask for it back, about a week after the job was done, I never heard from them about another 'original' tank they would put aside for me.
When I went looking for a larger tank, I weighed up $ vs L as far as value for money went and this was the best at the time. Gain is equivilent to two and a half jerry cans.
Cheers,
Dion.
