Did anyone see on Getaway tonight Ben Dark recover the backpackers in the troopy from being bogged in the sand. Tied with a knot the snatch strap around the upright on the drivers side of the troopy's bullbar, and also to the back of his cruiser.............. Gee I think a little bit of driver training might be handy Ben.....

Has anyone actually left a message for them on their website asking why Ben Dark has insufficient training to be able to impart his "experience" on TV to an unsuspecting and gullible public that is going to remember "how" to recover a bogged vehicle next time they need to? After all.... Ben's the expert because he's on TV!

The major thing I noticed, was he never told them, or any novice types watching it on tv that the correct thing to do is LET YOUR F A R K I N G TYRES DOWN !!!!

Yeah, I thought he looked like he was having a bit more trouble through the sand than he should have. I got the impression his tyres were too high. And was he trying to scare the guys fishing, or just passing them nice and close to say g'day.

The way he pulled the other troopy out, it could have become a rollover too............. Wonder if they got their deposit back..........all the gear and N.F.I.....

The other week he did a segment on a cattle drive down the Bridsville and anyone on horses was a "cowboy". How very American - he should know better. Didn't see the recovery episode.

I really don't believe the people that watch shows like this (and 60 minutes and ACA...) have the capacity ot remember "anything".... :))
