Toyota Rear Wheel Carrier - bushes replace

Submitted: Thursday, Dec 12, 2002 at 00:00

Beddo

Rear wheel carrier has slack in it and makes a hell of a noise - Toyota say they are a non serviceable part - and it looks that way from looking at it. Has anyone replaced the pins and bushes on any Toyotas that are supposedly non serviceable. Vehicle is a Toyota Surf KZN185 - 97 model, so a after market carrier will not be available - as far as I'm aware.

Beddo.
Any competant engineering shop will be able to make up over size pins for your carrier or supply plastic bushes like the ones in law mower wheels.
