Sat Phone Cradles

Submitted: Thursday, Sep 01, 2005 at 12:28

Hi Guys,

I'm going to get a car kit for our handheld sat phone mounted in our work 79 Series Ute. Where are my options to have the cradle mounted? Has anyone had problems with them getting damaged/dusty, some of the connection pins look a bit fragile.

thanks..

Stephen,

The problem with having the sat phone handy like that is that you'll use it. Save yourself some money and keep it hidden (but accessible).

Thanks Lyds.

I would like to leave it behind the seat, but... work wants me to be 'contactable' + they pay the bills.

Try Supacheap for an ajustable mobile phone cradle, i have one mounted on the jesus bar and works well, even allows you to have the charger on the phone and still fits in the cradle. A couple of zip ties and a bit of thin rubber and it's all good. Happy Camping

Go here http://www.ja-gps.com.au/index.htm and type in RAM-B-120

It will display the Ram mount for Sat Phones.
