Hello - The eXplorist 200 can save up to 5 track log files, 500 waypoints and 20 routes. The 400, 500 and 600 also have his capacity but with optional SD card you can save as many as you like as seperate files.
The 200 does not have standard external power input but I think some mob somewhere have made an aftermarket cable (not sure of who though). If you can afford it I would recommend 500 because of option to use detailed maps, its additional storage capacity, colour screen plus it has PC download and upload and external power capabilities.
If you ca not afford 500 then maybe 200 is not best option - have a look at the Garmins in
Shop on exploroz - I have no experience with garmins so cant comment on how good they may be. What ever you get make sure it has PC and external power connectivity as a minimum.
