How did they get it...steal the keys from the house? or winch it onto a tray back truck?

I was wondering the same thing. New one due in a few days and I'd hate to lose it.

Maybe this has been said before but most people on the site would probably refuse the reward.

Very sorry about your misfortune. From the photo that is a nice looking vehicle.

Did the police make any comment on how to prevent loss in the future?

How has your insurance company been? I hope I'm not touching on a raw nerve but can you expect to recoup enough to replace it and gear?

Watch tradingpost, ebay, and other local forsale things in your area.

even put in a wanted ad in the tradingpost etc for rooftop tent, you would be suprised how dumb thieves are sometimes.

sorry to say but its prob been stripped apart by now for sale in parts.

My bro is a cop and it's happening more often.
4WD is worth more to steal and sell compared to a commodore/falcon.
Keep an eye out in storage places for your parts. Pro's won't sell in the same area. Usually kept for a period and them sold on other side of country.

Look in trading post in qld, wa, etc.

Just make sure everything is insured. and let them have it.
If they can't steal it, they will give you hell.

They put a dent in every panel once a month, break a window, or even worse was my bro got called to a place where a guy's mercedes got spray paint all over it saying " fu*king rich c*nt". It's not the first times apparently as it has happened in the past, all because they couldn't steal it and were bleep off.

We are in a lose-lose situation.

I got done in February last year. Insured. no probs.

You can always have a decent alarm that calls you, $1000 plus.

But if you meet them or catch them. What would you do. They know where you live and give you hell. Not a good situation to be in especially if you have family.
