You need to work out what you want in a radio before the brand. I suspect all the top brands are pretty good.
I wanted a built in speaker, large LCD display and user programmable additional channels (but haven't used them yet), so I went for the GME 4400. It is a full DIN sized unit, so you have to have somewhere to put it. I built a roof console for it and ran a remote mike cable down and out in the dash so I don't have the curly cord dangling from the roof.
If space is a problem, the remote head units are good.

Norm that is the capital Q for QUALITY unit that I have installed just recently replacing a 3200. The features go beyond the 3400 and the larger digits of the display are a lot easier on the eyes.
You can see them all at Prestige
Communications and even download the manuals. I have been amazed that radios can arrive on my doorstep the next day, the opposite side of the continent! Very professional outfit.
