There was a post earlier this year (April I think) from Davoe and a reply from Eric that referred to a system for pressurising camper trailers that used a 12v fan hooked up through a car dust filter. Davoe said that he had seen one in a mag and Eric had used the system. Does anyone know where you can buy such systems or has anyone see one in a magazine that I would be able to get my hands on. Thanks Grant

I saw a campervan in
Mildura that had a flatish funnel on the roof rack , a hose to the van and a flange in thru the from of the van .
Don't know how it worked , looked simple .
The owner said it worked for him

I think it was home made and I would have no chance of finding it amongst my huge pile of mens womens weeklys even If I was at home

Hi Grant
When talking to the
Coober Pedy postman, he has a 12 volt fan that draws air through a car filter attached to a
snorkel. Apparently the
snorkel has tobe higher than the tow vehicle so that it is drawing as clean air as possible.
Regards Ray

GJnorth.
Yes is works
well. as mentioned before you can get a vent from a mazda truck, or buy a new unit from caravan supplies, I use a sun roof installed back to front, it scoops in bulk air and keeps everything cool, the sunroof is opened by an electric motor with the control switch at my finger tips.
Eric.

I have a
Kimberley Kamper and dont get any dust in the Camper/bed area - they are totally dust proof.
However in the Gullwing (stove and fridge) they have a fan to provide air flow around the fridge. The fan is at the rear of the gullwing at the top. There is another filter at the rear lower down. I think the fan actually sucks/blows air air out of the gullwing. The lower filter is paper element type. Probably worth looking at the system - it may give you some ideas. I have never had a dust problem in the gullwing.
