P-Chip

I'm interested in any feed back on the new fuel control chip called the "P-Chip". It is claimed to improve economy and torque in diesels. I have a late model Landcruiser 100 TD. Towing a 3 tonne van uses a bit more fuel and makes the L/C work harder so any improvements would be nice. However I would appreciate other users experiences if available. Value for money is the motivation. cheers, Neil.

Hi Neil,

I am going throught the same issue.

Do I get DP-chip for approx $1500 including dyno, or dtronic for $1400 and I install myself.

I am leaning towards dpchip with company at woolloongabba.

Thanks

Sounds like you might have a vested interest to me. Tell me more about Fitch. I first read about it on a Subaru forum. Sounds like it really does save fuel, but more torque to pull vans?

I speak of what i know and your comments speak of your mentality!! Cmon......you are not going to get 20% power gain from a Fitch!! That is why these guys are looking for a dtronic, dp chip etc..... they are looking for power and if they get a little better economy then tha is a side benefit.

I think it's about time that david put a lid on you. He mentioned in a post the other day that it's ok for you to defend your product but it's not ok to come onto the forum pushing it all the time.

Comeon Leroy

Not only will you get 2300kw and 3038nm at the key... your can will produce fuel instead of using it.

We will see some results of 'independant' tests soon :D then the laughter will begin

YMMV.

I thought this post was about P-Chips, Which I also am looking at buying and would like a bit more information about.

But all I find when reading this post is some Wan^%r pushing his product on everyone again (Filth) sorry spelt it wrong (fitch).

It seems that every time someone starts a tread about fuel savings there he is again, I believe he should not be allowed to Hyjack a tread unless the heading is about Fitches.

Now can someone please give us a bit more information about the P-Chip.

Many thanks

I do not have one of these chips but it appears the Dtronic is the go.

never heard of the P-chip, but I do have a question to pose;

if the 'chip' is supposed to work with your car, why would you need to dyno it (unless purely for curiosity)?

Now its probably not a chip in the true sense at all, but an add on diesel performance module (in case of both products mentioned).
