improvements or new?

We currently have an 88 model Pathfinder which is going strong but are tossing up whether to keep it and put a lift kit on it and some bigger tyres for more ground clearance and to get a mesh luggage holder for the roof racks for extra room when we go away or to buy another car. I have my eye on a V6 3ltr 94 model Patrol for $15000, is that a good buy? Which do you all think would be the better option?

Patrol never had a V6 in it.

Or you talking of something like a V6 Commodore motor you are talking about? arent they a 3.8? What is the 3ltr your talkin about will help out on if its a good option....

Depends on what you want it for. the Patrol is always a better option, newer car, better resale, more creature comforts, more accessories avaliable etc.. More serious offroader, coil suspension leads to easy lifting and 35s are only a 4in sus lift away!
