Cleared the haunted stream trek

Went up to swifts creek for the weekend and had some great drives along the haunted stream, Cassilis mine area, Mt Phipps to Dargo and around. There are still many trees down and we spent most of Saturday with 2 chainsaw going clearing the tracks. We didn’t actually get to the haunted stream until 4pm as we had clear many tracks along the way, having to turn around at one point as the tree was bigger the 4wd may be not that bigger, but we didn’t even attempt it, it was huge and we were only 300m away from the stream, bugger.
Have to say, the tallon chainsaws are bloody fantastic and on Saturday I think we went through 3-4 tanks of fuel and they worked very hard, $160 well spent.

The bakery in swifts creek has rocking egg and bacon rolls, the general stores is very well equipped and worth spending some time in. The caravan park is great, very clean and great facilities.

It amazes me looking around the Cassilis area, the machinery and tools that were once used. How they got them there is also amazing.

PS. I'd like to thank me for directing Ads Navi to the location of the mine, or we would have missed it altogether.

I'll now go and hide from her.

You brave and stupid man hahahaha, She will also let you know that your directions to the stream end us up behind a massive tree that we had to turn around, but i will just neglect to tell her you wrote that.

Certainly was a moment to remember as Wazza went splash...

No Wobbles in my wheel, checked and double checked.

Hey Ads, still downloading photos, but what about that mystery Grave I found, The Logs surrounding it, and the plaque were less than 6 mths old judging by how clean they were.

The plaque on the grave said

"A 17 Year Old Girl"..

Nothing more.. But what was more disturbing was the hole right next to it - 6ft x 3ft x 6ft deep. I'll get to them photos soon, cammo went spare with the camera takin photos LMAO
