Does anyone have experience with or know about a product called "Hiclone". It is a device that is placed in the air intake line, in various places, that swirls the air and is supposed to improve fuel economy.

Do a search. As Truckster would say, "It's been done about 12897597685616445 times before"

With something I mean...I did notice a little increase in fuel economy but I am not talking big numbers here....and maybe even a little increase in power but without testing this stuff on a computer we won't really know

Yeah I have 2 in my GU, can't say I can notice any difference, they come with a ten day or soemthing like that mone yback guarentee, but I guess I couldn't be bothered removing them once they were in.. Personally I wouldn't rush out.. If I had the time I'd have sent them back and got my $ back. no noticable diffenrece on my part.. thats not to say there isn't one, but I hguess you would need a computer test gear etc to notice the difference.. IMHO I think it's worth putting the money towards a bigger exhaust system FWIW...

Used it on an old commodore when I was young and niave , you are better off spending your money on a good filter like K&N or some cold air induction like a snorkel, they offer guaranteed performance benefits, although dearer.

Before i tried them i kept a record of fuel consumption and noted my driving habits for four tanks of diesel. After i put them in i ran them for three tanks and noticed no difference. This was in a 1995 troopy, Personally i would probably spend money on a KNair filter or change driving habits. I sent them back within thirty days and had no trouble getting my money back. It was about $330.
Happy days
