That happened to me once, driving a Cortina. I pushed the envelope too far with the grinding bearing noise in the rear wheel. AND I was in a remote area in West Africa. Had to walk some distance to get to a farm for assistance.

Come on fellas. You should know it isn't a Land Rover.
All Land Rovers for the last 30 years at least have fully floating axles just to stop the Jeep semi floating axle out problem.
Its some Chinese copy of a Russian 4by.
