Do you have any suggestions on equipment and safety gear needed for a year long trip around Australia in a 100 series landcruiser with a camping trailer?

Check with Pedders or other suspension mob that handle the PolyAir bags for rear suspension to help cope with fully loaded rear. I have these fitted to 2 vehciles and find them very good to compensate for heavy loads and leveling the vehicle.

Hi Daz,
I'd recommend checking out http://www.exploroz.com/InfoPages/TripPrep6.asp on equipment required. Its excellent (and no I didn't write it) and spot on as we've just returned from a similar trip with a camper trailer and have added to it. If you have checked it out, then there are a number of books that will help. Check out the shop on this site.
