The hooks were made from an angle bracket. They are about 100mm long and 20 or 25 wide and 3 thick with 90 deg bends. Imagine the metal strip lying flat on the bench with a 90 deg bend upwards then another 90 deg bend about 25mm along ending up parallel to the bench for only 25mm. The metal hook is then turned over and bolted to the bottom of the shelf base. I would send a pic but it is bolted in the car. I hope this explanation is clear. I could send you better pics if you wish. It cost about $150 to build.
