Hate to raise this again, but comming home with the Director of Finance tonight we passed a servo dislaying the fuel prices Unleaded 115.9c/L and diesel 133.9c/L, further down the track another servo different brand had unleaded 115.9c/L and diesel 129.9c/L and here's me thinking that the price of fuel had dropped. Silly Silly me.

On the Gold Coast we are supposed to have some of the cheapest fuel in the country. The Qld Govt subsidises it to the tune of 7c per litre, according to the stickers on the pumps. So why is my diesel costing me $1.30 a litre ??

hahahaha We Mexicans would'nt tell lies amigo :))) There may be the occasional blip but I think you'll find overall the residents of Qld get a much better deal on fuel (of any persuasion) than the rest of us. At least you have a Govt that has some clue re winning the hearts and minds of the electorate. I'll leave Health out of that last stement because all States have dropped the ball on that one.

In Adelaide it depends which side of town you live.
South of Darlington at $1.39/ litre.
North on Grand Junction Rd, $1.29/litre.
With Coles & Woolworths so involved now in fuel retailing, methinks we diesel users are being suckered into improving the director's & senior management's bonus allocations.
The margin of diesel over unleaded is obscene to say the least & diesel is the cheaper product to produce!
Blood is boiling so had better sign off !!!!

Work this one out...In southern Sydney on Wednesday some of the Shell's went up to $1.28 for ulp and $1.37 for diesel, but the mobils and some Shells stayed at $1.15 for ULP. Then Today all the Shells are back to $1.15 for ULP but the diesel is still $1.37

Greetings persons.

I travelled from Berri today, via Murray Bridge to Adelaide. Filled up at M/Bridge with Coles coupon at 1.19. Price in berri at BP 1.39. This is only 200 km away.
Cheapest I saw in Adelaide was 1.34, and I came back via Sturt Hwy. No way this can be fair opr reasonable, 20 cents different! And dearer in the city. The last 12 months or so Coles express Shell at Murray Bridge had been comnsistently cheaper than Adelaide, hope this beneifts someone.
