ABS sensors may fail - brakes are ok but no ABS or Hill Descent Control if they do.
Only other addition is a centre diff lock. If you're lucky the mechanism will be in the transfer case already and just needs an actuator (mechanical or solenoid). Having the CDL makes a huge difference and allows the traction control to have an easier time - reduces noise and wear on the brakes.
We've had 2 Discos and now contemplating a D3.
