I have recently purchased a second hand Tirfor and was wondering if anyone could help me out with an instruction manual or similar.

Dave, I can't help you with the manual, but most 4WD clubs have these hand winches and training on how to use them. The Melbourne Jackaroo Club meets this Wednesday 18 July at the North Balwyn RSL & Bowls Club, Centre Way, North Balwyn, Melways 46 G2. This month is a sausage sizzle starting at 7pm. Normal meetings start at 7.30pm on the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Otherwise you call try one of many clubs in your state. Regards, Mike
