Team as you know my car is not being driven at the moment. It gets a drive maybe one a month :( so when I get back in June what do you recommend I do and check. I will do the oil and filters straight away and flush out the cooling system. I am also putting in new 315x75R16 tyres...can't wait for them :) but maintenance wise what do you think I need to check for sitting so long.

Are you bringing the 315's back from the USA with you? They are probably pretty cheap over there. Maybe you can bring them as Extra Baggage...lol

Willem I did look into that option and they are allot cheaper. It's about $150 per tyre US...Shipping is the expensive but. I got a couple prices and to ship 5 over they want around $1000 for a slow ship.

Hey Laura

You will see the 'Upside down' trees in the Simpson Desert along the French Line/Track. Basically they are trees which have died and the top of the tree has broken off and decayed. Then over time the wind erosion has blown the sand away from the roots creating this phenomenon which I have named 'Upside down tree'....lol
