I own a Cameron (SA) and would have to say it is proberbly the best canvas going around. The trailer has just arrived back from 7.5K of outback work and is still as good as ever. The whole rig is now 5 yrs old and Ive had next to no trouble with it. Also it is quick and easey to erect and pull down.

Craig, I have been investigating the same thing. I have found so far in my research that the new 2000 series Jayco have quite a few Outback models to choose from. They are well equiped and built for off road conditions with 180mm clearance. There chassis is now 300% stronger and is fully galvanised to prolong the life of your trailer. You can pick a new one up for around $15,000 to $18,000 depending on the model you choose. For more info visit www.jayco.com.au
For the record, I dont work for them! Good Luck, Tony

Gday Craig, I own a Kimberley 2000, and am very happy with it, to narrow my choice I decided the solid roof, dust proof, flip over type, sleeping for 2, was what we wanted, we looked at Campomatic,Aussie Swag & Kimberley Kamper, we choose the KK for the overall build quality & suspension, also ARB are distributors here in WA, so the warranty aspect is easier to deal with. My opinion is you would be happy with any that I mention, need more info, e-mail me.

Last september (2000) I purchased a second hand Bushopper for my family (2 adults & 4 children). We have used it all over VIC, pulled by a late 92 Jackaroo. We have found it excellent value and has attended to our needs well. With a 65lt water tank, 3 Gerry cans and Gas, it tows well. It has leaf spings with a spare on board. After a recent trek through the Little Desert (VIC) in prep for the Simpson in July 2001, I will be putting shocks on it. (A bit bouncy!). I also put on a Tregg coupling and have 16 Cruiser rims which match Jack. Its a great rig and easily setup by my teenage girls. Have fun!
