I can't remember what year it was but another nonconventional car to run in the Le Mans was a gas turbined Rover. This was when Rover was Rover. It was driven by it's wheels but was not in the competition but it crossed the line first. Don't ask me any more but it's number was 00.
Pity that one of our TV stations didn't broacast the event
