Gaday Laura. Travelled on
Walkers crossing track last friday, is open, very dry & dusty. There has been around 12mm+ of rain fall from
Broken Hill up to Camerons Cnr last week so the Silver City highway to Tiboorburra is soft & rutted in
places but shouldn't take too long to dry out. I suspect Bollards Lagoon would have closed the
Bore Track for a few days as there was water in the clay pans but should be open by now. The road up to
Boulia is a dirt freeway, very dry (except where the rivers have overflowed) & even has a few long sections of bitiumum.
On this trip we found that except for the diam. dev road, most other outback tracks were a bit rougher than usual so allow a little more time to travel.
Cheers Craig.........
