Mr Fawlty

Not the Journey of a lifetime. I'm just curious, does anyone know if the road is sealed yet?

I don't imagine it would be too rough anyway.

I did that road in about 1980 driving a 75 Ford Escort 1300. Average speed over 100k/h.

I was young, I was foolish and I was having a ball.

Oh did I mention the fright of a life when I came over a hill to see road works on the bridge. Sideways into the detour and a big splash in creek. Still it was fun and makes for a great story around the campfire.

Not completely sealed yet, well it wasn't a couple of months back.
I did the trip often in my BA Falcon XR (pretty low ride height) without a worry.

Mr Fawlty,

I was passing through last week on the way to our family place near Crookwell.

Only about 400 meters not sealed. Good dirt, happy at 70kms in the Forester.
The section is the crookwell side of a dangerous cross road, however I can not find the name of the cross road.

Rodney.
