Biomagic

Sand Man (SA)

After reading a recent post about the Biomagic product, I ventured out today and bought some to try out.

So far I have:-
Sprayed the house
Treated the bathroom drains
Sprayed the sneakers
Treated the car air conditioning ducts
Sprayed the dog

Tomorrow I'm going to use it for what I actually bought it for, the porta-dunny.

Seems to do what the blurb says of it....eliminates odors rather than disguise them.

Nice one Sand Man,

After the same post, I checked out their website. Seems pretty impressive if it does what it says.

I'm gonna see if anyone round my way stocks it.

Aha aha aha,

No way John.

I guess my post should have included the "I have no involvement with the manufacturer, or distributor of this product....blah....blah....blah...."

Now, I'm not a greenie to any great extent and the inclusion of formaldehyde, or whatever, in the alternative product didn't faze me, but I found the Thetford "pink & green" product didn't really break down the solids, so I decided to give "Biomagic" a go.

So far, the most noticeable thing that it has done virtually immediately, is to eliminate the "tobacco" smell from my vehicle's air conditioning system.
One of my family borrowed the Jack some months ago and allowed their friend or friends to smoke in the car. So I was getting this stale tobacco type smell, emanating from the vents now and again, especially after a period of non use of the air conditioner, or fan and I couldn't eliminate the smell no matter what I tried. (Mainly air freshener type products, or "Glen 20", which just disguised the odor).

Well, I spayed Biomagic into the exterior inlet vents with the air conditioner running, then into the outlet vents after turning it off and voilà, no more odor.
Time will tell if the odor has been eliminated permanently.

Also, the dog is no longer anti-social. (Going to bath her this weekend anyway)

And, not only did the sneakers recover, but I have also treated my work shoes, so all is good.

Now, no where did I see these additional uses mentioned on the Biomagic Web site, or in literature accompanying the product, so if, at some future point in time I do see these uses advertised, or written, I would expect appropriate royalties from the supplier, then I can retire and go driving and camping in the outback full time.

Ah, dream on Bill.

I was meaning that in jest mate. I hadn't seen it referred to before, so was pleased at your wide endorsement. Chemical loos are a bit of a pain. I know there is a peculiar smell emitted from aircons after non-use for a few weeks.

Hope the marketer will endorse your cheques. Bugga off Bill, here, here!

We've used Biomagic for about 6-8 loads in our porta potty. I haven't left it for longer than four days and that includes No 2's. I put 50ml in the bottom tank and a splash in the top tank. I reckon it would go for a week with light use.

I am impressed at the way the Biomagic does not have a chemical smell and yet it eliminates the sewerage smell very well indeed. We use the loo in a pop tent outside and transport it in a custom made canvas zip bag in the camper.

When you empty the cartridge the effluent is a uniform brown stream with a slight smell but nothing to make you gag. I hope this is not too much information!

We have used the original chemicals that came with the loo but they were very strong smelling and you could always pick up that mysterious smell when it was being transported.
