Stefan

I have just lerarned from ARB that there is no Safari snorkel for the 1996 Pajero GLS NK 3.5l V 6 Petrol. Are there any other brands that do SNorkels for this particular vehicle? I have heard that Airtech is not very good due to problems with air intake and also rough fitting. Anyone can help me with this? Thanks for any info!!!!

The Safari snorkel that suits the NJ will also fit the NK. I fitted one myself last year. Just confirm that your aircleaner is in the same position. ie parralel with the RH fender behind the headlight. The aluminium flange supplied in the kit fits to the inside of the fender in the same way for both the NJ & NK. The air box nees to be sealed properly & the plastic flange from the aircleaner needs to be sealed against the RH side of the engine bay. silastic will do the job.

You can also try TJM for the Airtec snorkel.

Airtec will tell you they don't have one to suit the NK.

I fitted a Safari 3 litrre snorkel to a 3.5 (single cam NL). Just make sure as above about the air box location. They might say they won't sell it to you but tell them that you want to line it up against the car and that others have done it. INSIST. see other threads below recently, something about hole saws.
