No one has commented on the new ad for the holden rodeo
i see they went for the flares on the guards to enhance a beefy appearance like my navara (just kidding) did they change tyres or anything major .
i have heard a bit about their new turbo diesel
just a thought from a normally mad holden freak(except 4 X 4)
oky doky

Why do car ads not show the car anymore as a display?? Actually show you all the features instead of flyin past as 2194308230480klms???

The Pres of the Vic 4wd Association was talking they have written to Nissan about the Xtrail ads and a few others, like Prado I think and Holden....

The ads are made to sell on emotion. If you want to know the features then pick up a brochure.

the reason they dont show you any features is because people dont buy features they buy an image, you dont hear people say i drive a car with 5 cup holders, cd player ect. they say hay i drive a toyota or nissan because of the proceived image i mean who realy cares what it does as long as it looks good

Old Soldier replied:

Had a look at a couple in real life today at my local Holden dealer.

Not sure what I think.

Good to see the V6 is now 3.5 - looks a lot like a Jack V6, but the dealer tells me it is very different.

They look good, but I have a niggling feeling deep down that they are not a "Mickey Mouse" vehicle. I am not sure what it is - something is just not right.

After lots of thought I have decided they look a bit "tinny"

For me anyway.

enjoy the bush
