Hi All,
I have just completed the above project and thanks to those who offered sugestions.

Thanks also to Old Johno and Wizard2 for the pics.

Nice job...I always say you can't use enough Sikaflex to plug that hole up in the floor.

I like the use of he Y piece might have to re-visit my setp.

Thanks wizard ! I used Bostic Gold Flex to bog up the gaps. Great stuff .. stays flexable. Y piece is a hose director, 2 taps, with 12mm barb fittings.

Great job but could i sujest the hoses should be blackto prevent light encouraging groth of alge etc...

I would suggest rubber hoses as diesel makes plastic go brittle, and plastic is not reinforced like rubber hoses, so will more than likely rip if caught on a rock/lump of wood.

It doesn't need direct sunlight, just light itself will be enough to promote algae growth.
