Landcruiser Prado Shocks

Submitted: Wednesday, Aug 22, 2001 at 00:00

Cookey

I have heard that the original shocks (particularly the front) on the Prado are a weak point in the suspension.
Has anyone experienced problems with new or near new Prados and what are the alternatives available??

I own a 98 Model Prado Auto and have just replaced the original shocks in it at 125000 km One rear and One front shock where on their way out I put in a set of Rancho RS5000 Front and RS9000 Rear and now fully loaded with roof rack rear storage unit and wife and child the vehicle floats
