T-Rib.......I'm yet to see any such map you're looking for & would suggest it impossible to be in any way accurate. Following a pass by the grader many outback tracks are easily driven at 80 kph in a Ford Falcon (for example) only for the road to fall to pieces after an inch of rain, now requiring a well prepared Pootrol with ground clearance & mud
tyres. Often only 1/2 of the track has been maintained at any one time or the the road may be perfect excepting a river crossing running at a metre deep. The
trek notes on ExOz & in magazines are ideal
places to get a general idea of conditions with Forums,
HF radio schedules & talking to locals really the only way to get latest up to date information.
Cheers Craig.............
