Trolley jack and stands

Hi all

Looking to buy a half-decent trolley jack and stands so I can get under the Prado a bit easier and enjoy the underbody mud and crud dropping into my eyes from a slightly greater height as I attempt the wondrous art of servicing (the Prado that is)..

I'm a bit wary of the el-cheapo trolley jacks that appear in the junk mail from the auto chain stores and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of a quality brand, and also jack stands to hold the beast up in the air while I wriggle around under it..

Any ideas?

Cheers and beers and happy new year
Rich

I used the 2000kg rachet type stands you can get for about $40-50 from the auto shops, and they went fine under the chassis of the 90series.

I also use a no-name 2.25kg trolley jack that I bought from a toolshop about 6-7 years ago for about $150. Its still going strong.
