Everyone will tell you something different because tyre choice is a matter of opinion, like whats better toyota or nissan, so in saying that all i can offer is my experience, and you can chose from there. i would run, in your case BFG allterrain TA, 265/70/R16 or Copper ST in the same size. They are both the same price give or take, they are both tough and both perform well. Just a thought though, 15"
tyres are cheaper, you may want to stay with 15" and run say the same
tyres but in like a 31x10.5/r15?? good luck hope this helps!

Thanks !
Very good point re the 15" rims and the tyre price.
I have not had Cooper
tyres before, but i hear they are very tough.
I had BFGoodrich on my old BJ-42 and they performed well.
