I think you'll find the 32 litre unit cools to 30 degrees less than outside temp (to a minimum of 5 degrees), and heats up to 65 degrees.
We have a 7 litre unit in this same style (to supplement our 40 litre unit when using it as a straight freezer), and the smaller units only
cool to 25 degrees below ambient temp. Basically we keep the frozen goods in the 40 litre unit, and run the 7 litre jobby during the day to keep drinks
cool. I actually used the small unit last weekend while away 4WDing and
camping to heat a heatpack for my back, and it worked a charm.
We got ours from www.fridgeshop.com.au as a factory second, and paid half the new price. Delivered the next business day, no problems. We have no problem running both as we have a dual battery system - that said it will drain the battery much quicker than a compressor-type fridge/freezer.
