Bonz,
What the other fellows were saying is correct, but the resort owner on Fraser has sold out to the Kingfisher resort consortium which includes his barges. Added to this, is the government Fair Trading department has steped in to stop the price war between the
barge owners. My last knowledge of the prices at
Inskip are around the $70 now regardless who you go with. The barges out of River Heads near Hervey Bay and at Hervey Bay I believe are charging around the $100 (can't be certian of that price but I think its close). So its up to you whether you think its worth the $30-$50 price difference to drive the 110km one way trip that you mention.
From my knowledge, I think the price waring on the barges has well and truely finished around here. Hope this helps.
Relax.
