I can't beleive 50% of people think this is a good idea? What's wrong with people...
Anyway, you all might as well vote no and kill there pathetic little poll. If everyone on here votes no it'll really sway it our way. :-)

Earlier this poll showed 8% yes and 92% no. I would say someone has a lot of time on their hands and voted yes about a thousand times to bring the figures up to their current level. Fair to say online polls are next to useless.

The power of the press and in particular talk back radio. Never underestimate such power and the influence it has on politicians. Seems like you must have some other 'topical/politically related issues' in QLD as this type of Poll is often brought out to divert or distract the community from the real issues - whatever they may be. Regardless of just what you might think about the poll, someone will be taking note of the results and will eventually use these to support an arguement or proposal, maybe now, maybe in the future. That's how it works.

The votes are increasing by one every 5 seconds......there is definitely a scam happening here.....no voting site has that much traffic continuously!

Wow, when you look at the number of votes in every other poll conducted at ABC online, they have normally 1-200 with the odd 4-500. To have over 3000 now, smells fishy! when newly listed the percentages seemed reasonable ~60:40 (no), which worked out similar numbers to what we see now, (allowing for some increases naturally), yet the YES vote has exploded massively.
